Gathering During the Pandemic:
As of 5/24/20, we will be gathering at our normal time in the prayer garden located on the Presbyterian church's property, directly across from the library. These gatherings will be weather permitting. If we are unable to meet physically, due to the weather, we will meet online, via Google Meet at this link:
Our weekly gathering is Sundays at 5 p.m., in a space graciously offered to the church by the Auburn Presbyterian Church. This space, located in the basement of the Auburn Presbyterian Church, at 111 W. 12th Street, Auburn, Indiana, in the heart of this beautiful city, and it is across from the historic Eckhart Public Library. However, we are also charged to make disciples outside our walls, so, we will be meeting on the 3rd Sunday of every month for Worship at the Y at the YMCA of DeKalb County, on North Street, in Auburn. We will be sharing our meal and God Stories at 5 pm, and then help set up for worship with worship beginning at 6 pm.
This gathering offers communion, to all disciples of Christ who come to the table. We enjoy a meal together (this is a potluck, if you are able, please bring something to share, if not, come to the table and be fed) and discuss how God is moving in and through our lives. We believe that this practice of fellowship and breaking bread together is an extension of the early church, found in the book of Acts, and this practice allows the hope of Jesus to become a tangible part of our lives. We also share in the words of Scripture and prayer as well as worship through song. A weekly message, on various topics and their relationship to Scripture, is also a part of this experience.
This gathering is open to people of all backgrounds. It will be sensory and child/family-friendly. We do not have flashing lights or loud music. This is a space for all to belong and spend time with God.

We believe in the power of prayer. As such, we are a praying community and believe that a praying community is a healthy community. Prayer is a large part of our DNA. As such, team members are available for confidential prayer.
In addition, we believe in praying the prayer that Jesus taught us:
Our Father, in Heaven
Your name is Holy.
May your Kingdom come,
and your will be done,
Here on earth,
as it is in Heaven.
Give us our daily bread
and forgive us our wrongs,
as we will forgive those,
who have wronged us.
Help us to avoid temptation
And deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the Kingdom,
the power and the Glory,
Forever and Ever,

Hope for Mental Health
Hope for Mental Health
"50% of adults will develop a mental illness in their lifetime. This staggering reality can feel daunting, but there is HOPE for mental health." This group is meant for those who have, have had, or love someone diagnosed with a mental illness. It is our prayer that this program can shine a light into the lives of its attendees and bring hope to a sometimes hopeless situation.
"No one gets better alone! No family should walk through a mental
health crisis alone. We all need a support system of family, friends,
mental health professionals, support groups, and a faith community
in challenging times." - Hope for Mental Health Resource Guide, 2015
