Our weekly gathering is Sundays at 5 pm, in a space graciously offered to the church by the Auburn Presbyterian Church. This space, located in the basement of the Auburn Presbyterian Church, at 111 W. 12th Street, Auburn, Indiana, in the heart of this beautiful city, and it is across from the historic Eckhart Public Library.
This gathering offers communion, to all disciples of Christ who come to the table. We enjoy a meal together and discuss how God is moving in and through our lives and through the Scripture and topic we are studying. We believe that this practice of fellowship and breaking bread together is an extension of the early church, found in the book of Acts, and this practice allows the hope of Jesus to become a tangible part of our lives.
We also share in the words of Scripture and prayer as well as worship through song. A weekly message and discussion, on various topics and their relationship to Scripture, is also a part of this worship experience.
This gathering is open to people of all backgrounds. This is a space for all to belong and spend time with God. No pressure!
We believe in the power of prayer. As such, we are a praying community and believe that a praying community is a healthy community. Prayer is a large part of our DNA. As such, team members are available for confidential prayer.
In addition, we believe in praying the prayer that Jesus taught us:
Our Father, in Heaven
Your name is Holy.
May your Kingdom come,
and your will be done,
Here on earth,
as it is in Heaven.
Give us our daily bread
and forgive us our wrongs,
as we will forgive those,
who have wronged us.
Help us to avoid temptation
And deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the Kingdom,
the power and the Glory,
Forever and Ever,
Amen

This group is meant for those who have, have had, or love someone diagnosed with a mental illness. It is our prayer that this program can shine a light into the lives of its attendees and bring hope to a sometimes hopeless situation.
